Eli Metchnikoff Nobel Prized scientist, 70 years ago, has discovered that in some parts of southern Europe people live much longer than elsewhere. During his research, it was revealed that the the diets of these people had large amount of clabber and its production involves a certain bacterium.
Because the people who lived there regularly consumed clabber, this bacterium was constantly present in their digestive system.
He named this bacterium Lactobacillus Bulgaricus. Further research has shown that even Lactobacillus Acidophilus, better known as Acidophilus, is more potent than L. Bulgaricus, as Acidophilus can survive for 10 days or longer in the digestive system.
This is also important because the useful bacteria of the digestive system die within five days if they are not continuously fed with lactic acid or lactose, for example by Acidophilus.
Acidophilus creates an unfavorable environment for various pathogens, such as micrococci, clostridium, various colon bacteria, and fungi. Another advantage is that Acidophilus promotes the production of a weak antibiotic called colicin, so Acidophilus can often make antibiotic treatment unnecessary.
Acidophilus reduces cholesterol levels, helping to process milk proteins, amino acids, fats and lactose. Acidophilus has a role in the synthesis of vitamins B so important to the body.
Oral antibiotics destroy the beneficial bowel flora and cause the growth of Candida albicans which leads to diarrhea, constipation or other digestive disorders. Fungal infection can begin in the lungs, mouths, hands, feet, fingers, nails, and vagina.
One of the “side effects” of antibiotic treatment that has been used in the last decades is dermatomycosis (a fungal infection of the skin) and it became endemic in certain countries. Think about it ! “60% to 80% of the urban population suffer from dermatomycosis“. This disease can be remedied in a few weeks with large amount of Acidophilus.
Acidophilus eliminates the unpleasant taste of the gum caused by the intestinal decomposition process and treats acne and other skin disorders. Regular use of Acidophilus keeps the intestines clean. There is no known Acidophilus types harmful to humans.
One of the products we always have at home. It helps a lot with stomach problems after medication. My little girl was not sick at all, even among the largest epidemics, as long as she was taking Acidophilus.
- If you have diarrhea, take it for 5 to 6 days to recover the gut flora.
- Deep-fungal infections (dermatological or gynecological problems) should be treated locally while taking Acidophilus and then for months take 1-2 capsules a day
- Garlic and arginine-like amino acids can help fight fungal diseases.
